I was so excited to review the Vtech Go! Go! Smart Wheels Train Station. It was a perfect age group for my little kids. I have a 8 month old, 2-year-old, and 5-year-old. All of whom loved this set! It was bright and colorful perfect to catch the attention of all 3 age groups. The track is super easy to put together. Bubba the 5-year-old was able to put the pieces back together right after his little brother did the unthinkable and broke the track in a million pieces. Even though he was frustrated it was nice that he was able to put it together so easily. He wasn’t nearly as angry as he would have been had he had to ask for help every time the baby broke the track. BABY-ZILLA!!!

I think my 2-year-old had the most fun with the Vtech Go! Go! Smart Wheels Train Station. Where my 5-year-old was all about building the track and putting it together, my 2-year-old wanted to watch the train go around the track. She like watching the lights and listening to the train talk. She loved to help the train up the hill. She sat forever watching it go around and around and then helped it up the hill. She like to make the gates go up and down. When the train would hit the gate it would tell her to lift the gate and that is what she did.

Of course the baby loved the track, but he is still a bit young for it. He like taking it apart and putting the track right into his mouth. The track parts are nice and big and built well enough that I wasn’t worried about him playing with his older siblings. We just made sure to keep the train away from him since it had smaller wheels. The buttons are nice and large. The kids loved to listen to the clock tower. I kinda wish I had a mute button :) But I am glad that they enjoyed it so much!

Having a toy that all three kids could play with at once is great! It’s nice as a mom that there is a toy they can play with that I don’t have to say “Don’t let your bother get that” or ” You all need to share or I’m taking it away” The track was big enough that they were all able to sit around it and have a good time. Because there are so many different ways to build this track, they never get bored with it. It’s fun trying a new set up and playing with little figures around the track.

I think the only down sit that I saw was that because they track is so large it would be nice to have somewhere to put it when you’re not playing with it. Like a sack or something you could store it in. There are a lot of parts and it’s hard to keep track of all of them when they aren’t in one place. We use a bag that I happened to have but it still doesn’t fit everything.

I haven’t gotten any v-tech toys recently, so I’d have to say my favorite would be the V-Smile that my daughter had back when she was 3 or 4. It’s games were totally geared towards her age group & at the same time it made her feel like a big kid, to have a “video game system” just like her bis sister & cousin, who were both 8 or 9 at the time.
