I’ve been wanting to try Edible Arrangements for a long time. The idea of fresh fruit cut into these great little shapes making a beautiful bouquet really intrigued me. When my bouquet was delivered to my door I was so excited to finally get to try them. My kids were just as excited and couldn’t wait to help me try them out. Summer is the perfect time to try an arrangement with all the fresh fruit.
The first thing I noticed was how pretty the arrangement was. It was bright and fresh looking. As soon as I removed the outside plastic I was hit by the wonderful aroma of fresh sliced fruit. The kids would hardly sit still long enough for me to take photos.
Now to the taste. This one is hard for me since I have heard good and bad things about the fruit. With each store being different it’s hard to know the quality of fruit you will get. But I have to say that this one was wonderful. The fruit was sweet and juicy. It was great watching the kids wipe their chins as they went back for more. The one complaint I had, the Pineapple could have been a bit more ripe. It was a little more sour than I like.
After the kids took a bit chunk out of the arrangement I took it apart to store the rest of the fruit for later. The great thing about an Edible Arrangement is its beautiful for the time it needs to be, but then you can eat it after. Unlike flower bouquets that you just throw into the trash when your finished.
